Antibiotics Drugs

Bacteria or other parasites may cause infection in various parts of the body by producing toxins in the body. It may include meninges, eyes, mouth cavity, respiratory tract, urinary tract, bones, etc. Bacterial spices that cause infections are E.coli, staphylococcus, streptococcus, Mycobacterium, cornybacterium, etc.

Antibiotics are medicines that are used to either kill or stop the growth of bacteria and other microbes. Antibiotics are available in various dosage forms such as tablet, capsules, ointment, injection, lotion, etc. Antibiotics are used in acne, kidney infection, pneumonia, meningitis, after glaucoma or cataract surgery, after appendix removal, on blisters and wounds, in urinary tract infections, etc.

Antibiotics should be used with care. If you are taking any antibiotics you should complete your course. Otherwise there is a chance of resistance development which will lead to use of more potent antibiotics.
