AEROCORT rotacaps are the capsules containing microionized powder of two medicines Levosalbutamol and Beclomethasone. It is inhaled using a device known as Rotahaler which directly delivers the medicament at the site of action (lungs). Levosalbutamol is beta 2 receptor agonist and carry out bronchodilation whereas Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid (synthetic glucocorticoid) which acts as an anti- inflammatory agent. Both Levosalbutamol and Beclomethasone when combined together in a Rotacap work efficiently to prevent the symptoms of asthma and useful in conditions requiring both bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory drug.

AEROCORT rotacaps are used for the maintenance therapy of asthma in long term. It also prevents and relieves the symptoms of asthma like cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing.

It should not be used by individuals with a history of an allergic reaction to Beclomethasone or Salbutamol or any other constituent of the AEROCRT rotacaps.

AEROCORT rotacaps are composed of two inhalational drugs- Beclomethasone Dipropionate and Levosalbutamol sulphate. Beclomethasone is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid which blocks the recruitment of chemical mediators in the air passages which are responsible for their swelling and inflammation. It mitigates asthma symptoms like difficulty in breathing, chest pain, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator which binds to beta 2 adrenergic receptors and stimulates them. By decreasing the intracellular calcium ion concentration it relaxes the bronchiolar smooth muscles. This results in improved breathing by opening the air channels.
